When everyone cares about daytime running lights, they will definitely be concerned about the front fog lights of the car. I don’t know if you have noticed. Recently, many models have cancelled the front fog lights, such as Audi a4L and Roewe i6. Wait, instead, all series are equipped with LED daytime running lights as standard.
So what is the use of daytime running lights?
1. Beautiful. To tell the truth, a car with daytime running lights will look at her more when driving on the road. That is to say, it has a great effect on improving the overall appearance of the vehicle.
2. Safety, during the day, no matter how strong the sun is, as long as your vehicle is equipped with led daytime running lights, you can see your car far away, that is to say, in terms of safety, LED daytime Driving lights can play a big role.
Can daytime running lights replace fog lights?
I personally think this is not possible, because the light source of the two lights is the same, so its penetrating power is not the same, so, in heavy fog, if equipped with front fog lights, it is safer than daytime running lights. Better, if your car is not equipped with daytime running lights and front fog lights, then it is slightly worse in terms of safety.
You will also see that after buying a car, some people don’t have daytime running lights, so some people add daytime running lights after buying a car. The light source of the daytime running lights is LED. , His advantages are fast lighting speed, low energy consumption, and the price is very cheap, and more importantly, its light is very bright, for example, many models now use all-LED headlights, that is to say, The lighting effect of the daytime running lights is still very good, and it looks particularly bright.
Finally, let’s summarize that daytime running lights are still very useful, but they cannot replace fog lights. Daytime running lights can not only improve the beauty of the vehicle, but also have a very high safety, so if you buy When you are in the car, daytime running lights are standard on all series, so you really have a big deal.
