The bumpers are attached to the front and rear of the car to absorb the impact of a minor crash, ideally to minimize maintenance costs. Bumpers ideally reduce height mismatches between vehicles and protect pedestrians from injury.
Although the chassis and frame of the car have strong strength, but the body is easy to dent. Your front bumper is part of the car that can deflect most bumps and bumps on the road, saving you a lot of dough with the beater. However, over time, wear and tear on the part can cause it to malfunction and require replacement.

Step 1: find and unscrew the bumper cap
The front bumper has two parts. The first is a coat of paint that matches your car’s color scheme. This is sometimes called a bumper, but actually hides the real bumper underneath. To replace the bumper, you need to remove it first. Open the hood of the car and remove the screws holding the hood in place.
Step 2: Loosen the bumper cover
Now it’s time to release the bumper cap from its position. Look under the front of the unit and find the plastic clip that holds it in place. Carefully pry them out of place with a flat-head screwdriver. This clip attaches the bumper to the body of the car and needs to be snipped with scissors. Finally, pull the bumper cover off the car and place it on a blanket or towel to avoid scratches or damage.
Step 3: Remove the bumper
After you have raised the front of the car on a wheel ramp, use the body plate to locate the bolts along the bumper top edge below the front of the car. Use the wrench kit to remove the bolts, and use the sleeve and ratchet kit to remove the tensioning rods on either side of the bumper. Be Sure to store all the bolts in a safe place for reinstallation, and then remove the old bumper from the car.
Step 4: Replace the bumper
Place the bumper on the frame and attach the bolt through a hole in the part to the frame. Then simply reattach the nut to the bolt and tighten it so that the bumper is flush with the body, then reattach the tensioning Rod. You are now ready to drive down the ramp and start replacing the bumper cover.
Step 5: Reinstall the Bumper Cap
Remove the bumper cover from the secure storage space of the bumper cover. You need to replace the clip that was damaged in step 2 with a new clip, or the bumper cap will float in the wind. Just put the LID in place and lock it in place before reconnecting all the necessary clamps. When you’re done, the part is firmly attached to the bumper, and all you have to do is reconnect the screws under the grill, and your car is ready to go.
